Hammered before noon

Honu Iki was idling out of the harbor while Katrina wished straight into the void for Hammerheads.  OK, we all said; that'd be great.  Water is getting colder at around 76-77 degrees and that's hammerhead conditions.

Sure enough, after a full basket of Psychedelic Wrasses, Devil Scorpions and Frogfish, we looked out over the dropoff and suddenly everyone was tank banging.  It was about a ten footer and it circled round us once before disappearing into the blue.

That was an epic amount of critterhood for one day, but it was just the first dive.  After the Hammerhead encounter we hauled out of Pawai Bay and moored up at Pine Trees.  What was waiting for us under the sea were more Frogfdish, more Devil Scorpions, and some incredibly cool small animals, including a Jeweled Anemone Crab that Katrina found wedged in a crack.
